Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: August 18, 2026
This policy protects users, merchants, payment systems, and the public from deceptive or harmful use of generated receipt mockups.
Permitted uses
- UI/UX design, prototypes, and product screenshots.
- Software, printing, parsing, OCR, and QA test fixtures.
- POS and accounting-software demonstrations using invented data.
- Education and training examples.
- Clearly fictional film, television, theatre, photography, and game props.
- Marketing mockups that do not claim or imply a real transaction.
Strictly prohibited
- Proof of purchase, payment, ownership, delivery, expense, or identity.
- Returns, refunds, reimbursements, chargebacks, warranties, tax deductions, insurance, benefits, loans, audits, employment, immigration, or legal proceedings.
- Impersonating a real merchant, altering a genuine receipt, or representing a sample as authentic.
- Removing or obscuring SAMPLE and NOT VALID labels.
- Using real personal, medical, financial, account, or card data.
- Uploading logos or trademarks without authorization.
- Selling deceptive documents or instructions intended to enable fraud.
- Bypassing limits, security controls, access restrictions, or enforcement measures.
Enforcement
We may block exports, remove content, suspend accounts, preserve relevant records, reject payments, and report conduct when reasonably necessary to prevent harm, comply with law, or enforce this policy. Users may appeal through the Contact page.
