Terms of Service
Effective date: August 18, 2026
These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and the operator of Receipt Template Maker concerning access to and use of the website, generator, templates, accounts, subscriptions, and related services.
1. Operator and acceptance
Receipt Template Maker is operated by the legal entity identified in the Contact and Operator Details section below. By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or purchasing a plan, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy.
If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, and legally capable of entering a contract. The Service is not directed to children.
3. Nature of the Service
Receipt Template Maker creates fictional, clearly labeled visual receipt mockups for legitimate business, creative, testing, demonstration, and educational use. It does not issue receipts, verify transactions, confirm payment, or produce accounting, tax, insurance, warranty, reimbursement, or legal records.
Every generated output must retain the permanent statement that it is a sample and is not valid for payment, returns, reimbursement, tax, insurance, or proof of purchase.
4. Accounts and security
- Provide accurate account information and keep credentials confidential.
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by applicable law.
- We may require verification or suspend access where necessary to protect users or investigate abuse.
5. Permitted use
You may use the Service for UI/UX design, QA and OCR fixtures, software demonstrations, training, education, fictional film or theatre props, and marketing mockups that are not presented as evidence of a real transaction.
6. Prohibited use
- Fraud, deception, forgery, impersonation, or misrepresentation.
- Refund, return, reimbursement, chargeback, warranty, tax, insurance, expense, immigration, employment, lending, or benefits claims.
- Presenting output as proof of purchase, payment, ownership, expense, delivery, or identity.
- Removing, obscuring, cropping, or defeating safety labels or technical safeguards.
- Using another party’s name, logo, trademark, personal information, or confidential data without authorization.
- Malware, scraping that impairs the Service, security testing without written permission, or attempts to bypass access controls.
- Any illegal activity or activity that infringes another person’s rights.
7. User content and logos
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display it solely to operate and improve the Service for you.
You represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions. Do not upload sensitive personal data, payment-card data, medical records, government identifiers, or real transaction records. We may remove content or restrict uploads that create legal, security, or abuse risks.
8. Plans, billing, renewals, and cancellation
Prices, billing intervals, included features, and applicable taxes are shown before purchase. A recurring plan renews automatically until canceled. You authorize the payment provider to charge the selected payment method at each renewal.
You may cancel future renewals through the available billing controls or by contacting support. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Except where law requires otherwise or the checkout terms state otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable. Failed or reversed payments may result in restricted access.
9. Intellectual property
The Service software, original interface, fictional templates, documentation, and Receipt Template Maker branding are owned by the operator or its licensors. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service.
Third-party marks referenced in descriptive landing pages belong to their respective owners. Receipt Template Maker is not affiliated with or endorsed by those owners.
10. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, impose reasonable limits, or perform maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Material changes to these Terms will be communicated by updating the effective date and, where required, providing additional notice.
11. Enforcement and termination
We may suspend or terminate access, preserve evidence, and cooperate with lawful requests when we reasonably believe these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, law, or another person’s rights have been violated. You may stop using the Service at any time.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption. Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of amounts paid for the Service during the twelve months before the event or USD 100. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify the operator from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use, user content, infringement, fraud, or breach of these Terms. This does not apply to the extent a claim results from the operator’s own unlawful conduct.
15. Governing law and disputes
The governing law, courts, mandatory consumer rights, and any alternative dispute-resolution terms must be completed using the operator’s actual legal domicile. Mandatory protections available to consumers in their country of residence remain unaffected.
16. General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without consent; the operator may assign them as part of a merger, restructuring, or transfer of the Service. These Terms and incorporated policies are the entire agreement about the Service.
